This post is to give my overall personal reflection of this class and all our assignments.
I really enjoyed this class a lot. I am so glad that I was "required" to take this class for my major because I learned how to use tools in the Internet that I would of never known about other wise. I learned ways to teach new information to students using Web 2.0 tools.
I would have to say some of my favorite assignments would have to be, Windows Movie Maker, PhotoStory, and using Picnik to edit all my pictures. I could use Jing in my classroom teacher students with videos I created on a certain lesson.
I thank Dr. Yuen for teaching use the semester because he did a GREAT job! He may be class very easy to learn in and allowed us to create our assignments however we liked to.

Assignment 8- Jing
For Assignment 8 we were to use Jing. Jing is a Web 2.0 tool that allows you to take screen shots and screen videos. Jing is a free progrma you can download from their website and when you sign up with Jing you also create an account with Screencast.com. Screencast allows you to store all you screenshots and videos as you create them. Jing as tool on screenshots were you can insert text, boxes, arrows, and much more.
Dr. Yuen asked us to go by the following guidelines when creating this assignment. We were to have a minimum of five images and one video. All the images and video had to uploaded to Screencast. The video had to be at least two minutes long. After we had created all our documents and posted them onto Screencast we had to share the link on our class social network.
I have never used Jing before. I had to use Gadwin PrintScreen which allowed you to take screen shots and edit them. Gadwin was limited to the things you could do with it, you could not take video with it. Jing is alot easier to use and very user friendly. I enjoy working with Jing better than Gadwin PrintScreen.

Assignment 3- Audacity
For Assignment 3 we had to create, and mix a audio recording using Audacity. Audacity is a free Web 2.0 tool that can be downloaded for free. It has software to record and import audio and voice recording.
In the assignment we had to include at least three audio clips joined and mixed together. The audio file must be two-five minutes long. Our final production had to be burnt to a CD (compact disc) using InfraRecorder, Nero, or Roxio. The CD had to be turned in and we had to post the MP3 format of the final project to our social network.
I had never used Audacity or any audio recording tool before. I was surprised about how easy it was to use. I watched some of the video tutorials to help understand all the things you could do. I enjoyed this assignment because you could listen to what you were doing as you went along creating it. The tools were very easy to use and were labeled with the names of them. I would recommend this tool to others to use. I also used this Web 2.0 tool in on of my later assignments to add voice and audio to a movie.

Assignment 7- Go Animate
This assignment was to introduce us to GoAnimate. Animation is used in many ways now in our daily lives. It is used in cartoons we watch on T.V., commercials, and much more. To use GoAnimate all you have to do is go to http://goanimate.com and register for an account. It is free and takes just a few minutes to create an account.
For this assignment we had to use GoAnimate to create an animation. We had to have atleast two characters, with actions, faces, and speech bubbles. The animation had to be atleast 30 seconds. Once we completed the animation we had to embed our video onto our class social network.
This was not one of my favorite assignments we had to do. GoAnimate had limited things to choose from. It look me awhile to get everything the way I thought it should run. If you placed a character in one place and wanted them to move you were limited about where they could move. The other animations that each character could do were limited too. There is a chance I will not use this web tool again. I completed the assignment as Dr. Yuen asked us to and that was it. I did not enjoy this assignment.

Assignment 6- Movie Maker Video on YouTube
This assignment is all about using Windows Movie Maker, which is already installed on your computer or can be downloaded for free! Then taking your video and uploaded it to YouTube.
The movie had to include, title slide, ending slide, minimum of ten pictures, and a video clip about a specific theme. Dr. Yuen told us that we would be narrating through out the video. He also told us to add background music (make sure you could still hear the speaking over the music). After we had completed the video we needed to upload our video to our YouTube account. Make sure we had a title, description, tags, category, date, and mapped our location. We also had to allow for comments, responses, and ratings on our video. We had to embed our video onto our class social network page.
Windows Movie Maker is very easy to use. I loved it better than Jaycut. It was less time consuming and easier to work with. I enjoyed this assignment a lot. I like being able to upload different videos I create to YouTube, because this gives a wide range of people a chance to watch your video and leave feed back. I will continue to use Movie Maker in my future especially as I become a teacher.

Assignment 5- Jaycut
For assignment 5 we were to create a Jaycut video. Jaycut is a Web 2.0 tool. It is used to create interactive video with music, slide transitions, images, videos, and much more.
In this assignment we had to include, atleast 2 video clips, edit and remix of video using Jaycut, title slide, images, audio/music, transitions, and closing credits. The final production had to be 2 to 5 minutes long. After we had completed everything we had to post of URL onto our social network page.
This assignment was quiet difficult. It was very time consuming. It was not like the past assignments. You had to set everything right on the "timeline" for the movie to be created right. The preview of the production was very slow which did not allow you to preview you video until you had created it. Many times you had to go back and change your video to make sure everything was clear and flowing. Once you understood the online tool it was not bad. I enjoyed learning about Jaycut and seeing new ways to create videos. I would recommend this tool to someone else as long as they understood that it is time consuming and its not user friendly at first.

Assignment 4- Animoto
For our 4th assignment we were to create a presentation using Animoto. Animoto is a web application that produces videos from user-selected photos, video clips and music. It has pre-made layouts, songs, etc. You basically choose what theme you want, upload your photos, videos, pick a different song if you would like, and create!
In this assignment we had to include: 10 photo images, edit them using Picnik, create an online presentation using Animoto, add music to our presentation, and embed our presentation onto our social network.
I enjoyed this assignment because Animoto is very user friendly! It has step by step process you take. All I had to do was chose which theme I wanted to use, upload pictures, add the music I wanted played, and click create. With my major I would be able to use this web 2.0 application in many different ways when introducing new lessons to my class.
