Assignment 7- Go Animate

This assignment was to introduce us to GoAnimate. Animation is used in many ways now in our daily lives. It is used in cartoons we watch on T.V., commercials, and much more. To use GoAnimate all you have to do is go to http://goanimate.com and register for an account. It is free and takes just a few minutes to create an account.

For this assignment we had to use GoAnimate to create an animation. We had to have atleast two characters, with actions, faces, and speech bubbles. The animation had to be atleast 30 seconds. Once we completed the animation we had to embed our video onto our class social network.

This was not one of my favorite assignments we had to do. GoAnimate had limited things to choose from. It look me awhile to get everything the way I thought it should run. If you placed a character in one place and wanted them to move you were limited about where they could move. The other animations that each character could do were limited too. There is a chance  I will not use this web tool again. I completed the assignment as Dr. Yuen asked us to and that was it. I did not enjoy this assignment.

  1. I liked all the characters that you used. I know it was hard to get the characters to move and transition to certain areas that you wanted them to go. I like the setting you chose. The guy in the left back corner, in the gray, made me laugh when he started dancing. Good Job!

  3. I was not a fan of this assignment either. You did a good job though. I thought the best thing about the whole thing was the dancing action. That was funny. My problem was the speaking. I had to retype a lot of things to get them to say what I wanted. Sometimes they skipped several words and ran some together, but I did like the dancing.
